ABOUT

Strategy studio on Saint-Laurent — not a robot showroom

RoboNarrative helps Quebec and Canadian manufacturers decide what to automate, in what order, with whom, and how people absorb the change. Independent advisory from Montreal's Mile End corridor.

WHY WE EXIST

The missing chapter between ambition and purchase order

Manufacturers across Quebec hear the same pressure: automate or fall behind. Integrators arrive with impressive demos. OEM reps promise cycle-time miracles. Internal champions compile slide decks. Yet plants stall because nobody wrote the narrative that connects assessment to adoption — the sequence, the trade-offs, the workforce conversation, the safety documentation rhythm.

RoboNarrative fills that gap. We are advisors who sit with leadership and shop-floor voices before capital commits. Our work product is clarity: feasibility memos leadership can defend, roadmaps operations can execute, vendor scorecards procurement can audit, and change plans stewards can read without suspicion.

What the name — and the .life domain — actually mean

RoboNarrative combines robotics with narrative because transformation is a story told in phases, not a single installation date. The .life top-level domain refers to the thread of operational life on your floor — how work flows from shift to shift — not to life coaching, wellness retreats, personal development, or lifestyle branding. We have received confused emails from people seeking career counselling; this is not that organisation. We advise industrial operators on automation strategy. Full stop.

If you expected motivational content or a consumer robot catalog, you are in the wrong place — and we would rather say so plainly than waste your time.

Automate the right things, in the right order — the robotics roadmap, guided by people.

Our studio

We work from Suite 210 at 4200 Saint-Laurent Boulevard, in the Mile End / Plateau border zone where manufacturing heritage meets design studios and tech offices. The space is built for working sessions — wall-scale roadmap timelines, vendor comparison boards, and quiet corners for confidential board prep — not for displaying hardware we do not sell.

Client workshops happen here or on your plant floor, depending on what the phase requires. Feasibility walks belong where the noise and smell and shift-change rhythm live. Executive readouts often land better around our table with coffee and printed appendices leadership can annotate.

Who we serve

Mid-market manufacturers and industrial operators — typically C$25M–C$400M revenue — across Quebec and broader Canada. Food equipment, metal fabrication, precision machining, plastics, and industrial distribution feature heavily in our work, though our method transfers wherever physical processes meet automation decisions.

We are a fit when leadership needs independent judgment, not when you already know the integrator and only want procurement support. We are a fit when union consultation, bilingual documentation, or PIPEDA-aware data handling matters alongside technical choice.

Independence as a operating principle

We do not resell robots, take integrator referral fees, or markup vendor contracts. Compensation comes from advisory fees disclosed upfront. When we recommend pausing automation to fix a process first, no commission is lost — which is exactly why clients trust the recommendation.

We also do not guarantee ROI, incident-free deployment, or vendor performance. Our reputation rests on honest sequencing and documentation you can audit later, not on promises neither advisors nor integrators can keep universally.
