TERMS
Terms of Service
Terms governing your use of robonarrative.life and your relationship with RoboNarrative Inc. Effective and last updated: 14 July 2026.
1. Agreement to terms
By accessing or using the website robonarrative.life (the "Website") or by engaging RoboNarrative Inc. ("RoboNarrative," "we," "us," or "our") for professional robotics strategy and transformation advisory services (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Website or engage our Services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, enquirers, and clients. Specific advisory engagements are additionally governed by signed statements of work, master service agreements, or other written contracts ("Project Contracts"). Where a Project Contract conflicts with these Terms, the Project Contract prevails for that engagement.
2. About RoboNarrative and the .life domain
RoboNarrative Inc. is a corporation incorporated in Quebec, Canada, with its principal place of business at 4200 Saint-Laurent Boulevard, Suite 210, Montreal, QC H2W 2R2. Business Number: 802467135 RC0001.
We operate on the .life top-level domain. The name RoboNarrative combines "Robo" (robotics and automation strategy) with "Narrative" (the phased story of how assessment becomes adoption on your plant floor). The .life extension refers to operational life — how work flows through shifts, lines, and change cycles — not to life coaching, wellness programming, personal development, lifestyle branding, or motivational content services.
RoboNarrative is a professional advisory practice. We are not a consumer robot store, not a content marketing agency for hire, not a self-serve software product, and not a certification or regulatory sign-off body. Occasional confused enquiries from individuals seeking personal coaching are redirected; such services are outside our scope.
3. Nature of services
RoboNarrative provides professional advisory services including automation feasibility and business case development, robotics roadmaps and strategy, vendor and technology selection support, workforce change and enablement planning, safety compliance and risk advisory, and operations analytics and reporting. Services are offered exclusively to business clients — primarily mid-market manufacturers and industrial operators in Quebec and Canada.
We are an independent consultancy sitting upstream of integrators and vendors. Unless explicitly scoped, we do not commission robot cells, write production PLC code, or provide legal, financial, or regulatory certification advice. Illustrative CAD budget ranges published on the Website are for scoping conversations only and do not constitute binding quotes or offers.
4. Website use
You may use the Website for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Violate applicable federal, provincial, or local law;
- Attempt unauthorised access to our systems, networks, or data;
- Transmit malware, spam, or automated scraping imposing unreasonable load;
- Misrepresent identity or affiliation when submitting enquiries;
- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Website content without written permission;
- Use the Website to solicit engagements involving weapons, surveillance of individuals, or personal life-coaching masquerading as industrial advisory — we decline such work.
We may restrict or terminate Website access for conduct violating these Terms or threatening system integrity.
5. Enquiries and contact form
When you submit an enquiry, you represent that information provided is accurate and that you have authority if acting for an organisation. Submission does not create a client relationship or obligate RoboNarrative to accept a project.
Contact form data is handled per our Privacy Policy. You must provide explicit PIPEDA and Law 25 consent via the unchecked consent checkbox before submitting personal information.
6. Professional engagements
A client relationship forms only when both parties execute a Project Contract defining scope, deliverables, timelines, fees in CAD, acceptance criteria, change procedures, intellectual property, confidentiality, and data handling.
RoboNarrative assigns senior advisors to scoped work. We ensure continuity through documented handoffs if personnel change mid-engagement.
Client responsibilities typically include timely facility access, operational data, existing documentation, safety personnel for joint review, and decisions within agreed timeframes. Client-caused delays may affect timelines and costs.
7. Fees and payment
Fees are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Payment terms are defined in the Project Contract. We do not guarantee return on investment, vendor performance, throughput improvements, or cost savings from advisory recommendations.
Retainer arrangements specify monthly advisor hours, response targets, and renewal terms. Unused hours roll forward only if stated in the contract.
8. Intellectual property
Website content is owned by RoboNarrative Inc. and protected by copyright and trademark law. "RoboNarrative" is a trademark of RoboNarrative Inc.
Project intellectual property allocation is defined in the Project Contract. Unless otherwise agreed, client-specific roadmaps, scorecards, and reports created for a client are assigned to the client upon final payment. RoboNarrative retains rights to general methodologies, templates, and know-how developed independently or prior to the engagement.
Client-provided data and trade secrets remain client property. We use client data only for scoped advisory purposes per the Project Contract and Privacy Policy.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties protect confidential information disclosed during enquiries and engagements. We do not publish client names, logos, or metrics without written permission. Website case narratives are anonymised composites.
Confidentiality obligations survive termination for the period in the Project Contract, or five (5) years if unspecified.
10. Independence and vendor neutrality
RoboNarrative does not accept integrator referral fees, OEM commissions, or other compensation that could bias vendor selection advice. If a material conflict arises despite these policies, we disclose it promptly and offer remediation including withdrawal from selection work.
Recommendations reflect information available during the engagement. We are not responsible for vendor conduct, product defects, or integrator performance after selection unless explicitly scoped in a separate oversight engagement.
11. Safety, AI, and operational disclaimers
Civilian industrial advisory only. We advise on civilian manufacturing and industrial automation strategy. We do not support weapons, autonomous weapons, or systems intended for surveillance of individuals.
Advisory not certification. Safety compliance support helps document risk and align planning with recognized standards including ISO 10218 and ISO/TS 15066. We are not a certification body. We do not provide CNESST sign-off, regulatory approval, or legal compliance opinions. Final workplace safety responsibility remains with the client as employer and equipment operator.
No zero-incident guarantee. No advisor can guarantee incident-free operation. Workplace safety is shared. Clients must maintain safety programmes, operator training, and regulatory compliance.
No performance guarantees. We do not guarantee ROI, cycle-time reductions, uptime, vendor availability, or adoption speed. Outcomes depend on client execution, integrator quality, workforce context, and market factors outside our control.
12. Warranties and disclaimer
THE WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Advisory services are performed with reasonable skill and care consistent with professional consultancy standards. Express warranties, if any, are stated in the Project Contract. We disclaim all other warranties not expressly set out in a signed Project Contract.
Website information — including illustrative budgets, timelines, and case descriptions — is general information only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or engineering advice, an offer, or a binding commitment.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ROBONARRATIVE INC., ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, PRODUCTION, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM WEBSITE USE OR ADVISORY SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
RoboNarrative's aggregate liability for any claim arising from a specific Project Contract shall not exceed fees paid under that contract in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable Quebec or federal law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Clients acknowledge that automation decisions and deployments carry operational risk. Clients maintain appropriate insurance for their operations.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoboNarrative Inc. and its personnel from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Website, violation of law, or operation of automation programmes contrary to documented roadmap assumptions — except to the extent caused by RoboNarrative's gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
15. Third-party products and integrators
Vendor selection work evaluates third-party hardware, software, and integrator proposals. We are not responsible for third-party defects, pricing changes, end-of-life notices, or licence compliance for products the client procures. Compatibility observations during advisory work are opinions based on information available at the time, not warranties.
16. Termination
Website access may be restricted at our discretion. Project Contracts define termination rights, notice, payment for work performed, and deliverable handover. Upon termination, each party returns or destroys confidential information per contract terms.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec sitting in the District of Montreal for disputes arising from these Terms or Website use, except where consumer protection legislation grants non-waivable rights to bring proceedings elsewhere.
Disputes arising from Project Contracts are resolved per the dispute resolution clause in the applicable contract, or failing that, under Quebec law in Quebec courts.
18. Language
These Terms are published in English. French language versions may be provided on request for Quebec clients. In case of discrepancy between English and French contract documents expressly executed in both languages, the version specified in the Project Contract prevails.
19. Privacy and cookies
Website use is subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, incorporated by reference.
20. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, or business changes. Updated Terms are posted with a revised effective date. Continued Website use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes affecting active Project Contracts require contract amendment.
21. Severability
If any provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in force. The unenforceable provision is modified minimally to make it enforceable while preserving intent.
22. Entire agreement
For Website use, these Terms together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy constitute the entire agreement regarding the Website. For advisory services, the Project Contract together with these Terms (where incorporated) constitutes the entire agreement.
